The cold, hard air entered her lungs, chilling her to the bone. It was strange how quickly it had gotten so cold. The sun was shining on both sides of the street and seemed to be battling the gusts of cold air, leaving portions of the street warmer than others. But there was no doubt about it: old man winter was undefeated.
